Your on-board naturalist will describe the diversity of marine life that migrate to this peaceful place each summer to feed in the abundant waters of Icy Strait. You will learn about the behavior and habitat of wildlife that you may encounter which include Humpback and Orca (killer) whales, Stellar sea lions, Harbor seals, Dall's porpoise, Bald Eagles and other waterfowl. As a special bonus keep an eye towards the shore as you cruise, you might just spot a brown bear on the beach. Bring your camera for this incredible photo opportunity! Be sure to dress warmly so you can experience the sights and sounds of these magnificent mammals while spending time on the outdoor deck. Whale sightings are not guaranteed but you will be cruising in the waters where the whales return to feed each summer.
