Embark on your rugged adventure on a 4x4 Kawasaki Mule. The ZipRider™ cable ride is the world's longest ZipRider™ in the world, 5,330 feet long, and includes a 1,300 foot vertical drop! Accelerating to a maximum speed of 60 mph, your 1.5 minute ride will touch down on the beach at Icy Strait Point.
Experience the majesty amidst the mountains of Chichagof Island when you embark on your rugged adventure on the ATV Expedition followed by a ride on the world's longest ZipRider™! Board your bus for a ride through the Tlingit village of Hoonah en route to your departure site high in the mountains of Chichagof Island. Once there and after a safety briefing, join your local guides as you board your 4x4 Kawasaki Mule for a rugged ride viewing the forest, valleys and mountainous scenery. Designated drivers will have opportunities to switch driving responsibilities.
Next, you will ride the world's longest ZipRider™ at 5,330 feet long, including a 1,300 foot vertical drop! Accelerating to a maximum speed of 60 mph, you pass through a wooded area, soon afterward the bottom drops out and you will be 300 feet above the ground. If your eyes are still open you will see sweeping views of Port Fredrick, Icy Strait and your cruise ship! Your approximate 1.5 minute ZipRide ends with a touchdown on the beach at Icy Strait Point.
Participants must be at least 10 years old, between 90 and 275 pounds and be comfortable with heights. All ATV drivers must present a valid driver's license. The ATV is a remote trail experience, will be bumpy, and all participants must be guided accordingly. Participants should wear warm layered clothing, waterproof outwear and closed toed shoes. Loose and dangling clothing is not allowed. Pregnant women and persons with back and/or neck problems are not permitted to participate.
