In Alaska's Wildest Kitchen
Don't just settle for a meal of wild Alaskan seafood: Experience it as Alaskans do. In Alaska's Wildest Kitchen is a hands-on tasting session hosted by an experienced Alaskan fisherwoman and wilderness chef. You and your fellow greenhorns will learn what sets Alaskan seafood apart, including local fishing, preserving and cooking techniques, watch an expert filleting demonstration, and even get a chance to grill your own sample of the catch of the day over our custom-made alder-wood grill. Tastingmenu may include fresh and canned salmon dishes, grilled halibut, Dungeness crab, wild berries and seasonal herbs and vegetables. One alcoholic beverage and printed recipe cards included in the cost of the tour. Wine and Alaskan Brewing Company beerare available for purchase.

Why do I have to choose a cruise line?
All cruise ship guests are encouraged to book their tours at their cruise lines' websites prior to arrival. We allocate all of our departure times and space to the cruise ship that is in port for the day and control all sales until they arrive at Icy Strait Point.
